Magnus Jernemyr began playing handball in Orsa and showed great talent for the sport early on. After playing for Borlänge HK as a junior, he moved to the prestigious Redbergslids IK, where he started to build his reputation as one of Sweden’s best defensive players. During his time in Sweden, he established himself as a solid and hard‑working defender, winning no fewer than seven Swedish championships with Redbergslid.
